What does an (Junior) HR Officer do?
As an HR Officer you are the first point of contact for employees on any matters related to Human Resources. You are responsible for advising and supporting United International Management BV and United Holding regarding HR issues, HR policies and current HR developments. Your contribution ensures that United attracts and retains its talent. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for our employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures and programmes, building relationships and providing outstanding service
  • Conducting, supporingt and reviewing all HR administration including on-/offboarding, compensation and benefits, learning and development, absenteeism, performance management, legal compliance, employee engagement and communications
  • Recruitment. which includes networking with industry professionals and employment agencies to identify suitable candidates, conducting interviews and drafting job offers
  • Providing timely input to the monthly payroll and collaborating with our external payroll provider to ensure a smooth, correct and timely payroll process
  • Maintaining HR files and databases, ensuring that contracts, addendums and other important documents are kept up to date with the local legislation and that all the required documents are requested
  • Liaising with the employee insurance agency (UWV), the occupational health and safety service (Arbodienst), the pension provider, and the immigration and naturalisation service (IND).

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a responsible, dedicated and flexible new colleague, with an eye for detail and a service-oriented mentality. A team player who can also work independently and prioritise. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration, at least two years’ experience in a similar role, a solid understanding of HR functions and best practices, and a working knowledge of Dutch employment legislation. Also important are excellent administrative and organisational skills, proficiency in Dutch and English communication and familiarity with MS Office tools.

What does a Business Development Manager do?
We depend on our Business Development Manager to generate a sustainable flow of new revenue for our office and improve our market penetration. You will operate internationally through existing personal contacts and by establishing new relationships with external professional intermediaries. And you will assist with the management and administration of the new business you have brought to United.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a self-starter with a commercial mindset who thrives on working independently and doesn’t mind travelling overseas on a regular basis. Besides a relevant academic and professional education background, we expect you to have a proven track record in generating new business. To be successful in our supremely client-oriented organisation, you need excellent personal and communication skills. Command of one or more foreign languages is definitely a plus. As is previous experience in the fiduciary industry, with a good understanding of international corporate and financial services and current industry trends.
